Finally a reference for Renor! I'm very, VERY pleased with how he turned out! <3

Name: Renor

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: Renor is very shy of people, but that shyness doesn't usually extend to other species. He is very respectful, and tends to be careful of what he says. He is friendly and loyal, and above all things he loves the creatures of the wild. He feels more at home with them than with other people. He's a young man with a ready smile who warms quickly to those who treat him with the kindness and respect that he initially offers to everyone, but he is also guarded with secrets he's not quite willing to tell to everyone.

Equipment: He is never without his bone knife, and is usually carrying supplies as well. Above are pictured two versions and layers of his most commonly worn outfits. To the left is what he normally wears while hunting save that he usually also wears a wrap like the one on the right in shades of brown and tan. To the right is what he wears when he is taking part in a more social gathering. 

History: Renor was born into a small seclusive desert tribe. When he reached the age of thirteen he left his homeland to travel the world. He hardly expected what he found out in it. He has learned the hard way that mankind is not always kind, and has as a result decided to live apart from it. It was during his travels that he found his first companion, and quickly came to realize that he had a place in the colder climates of the north. Though it is much different from the desert he was born in, he has quickly adapted. He currently resides in a moderately large cave system which is home as well to his semi-tamed companions. Many of them come and go as they please, but at heart they are a family. He would trust any of them at his back, and they would do the same. 

Other: Renor has the ability to communicate in a limited fashion without words. He can if he concentrates send images, scents, and emotions to another living being. This ability is not limited only to animals - as he has recently learned - but most humans are not only not receptive to the idea, but would find it difficult to achieve the focus and clarity of mind it requires to 'listen'. Mostly Renor uses this gift to communicate with those he calls friend and family in spite of their species difference.
